Replacement rear sub-frame

I have an '04 RX-8 that has been lowered - I think this is the root of my problems. The rear sway bar mounting tab has been torn from the rear sub frame. I've had it welded once but it is beginning to tear again. Anyone aware of a replacement rear subframe that is stronger than the original, or a know reinforcement modification. UNfortunately, I got the car used so I don't know the specific upgrades that have been done to the car, but it has definitely been lowered.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you need a better welder. Pics of you rear would help us to see if there is really anything really wrong.

The rear swaybar may be installed upside down, which is about the only way for this to happen

and you posted this in the 2009+ area which isn't helping your cred any

^ +1 on that, this has happened to the unwashed so many times over the years, it really should be a sticky somewhere because unfortunately it is so incredibly easy to make that mistake when reinstalling.
