Refinishing Rims...Gunmetal or Silver??

1 Attachment(s)
I was wondering if anyone has had their rims professionally refinished and what the typical costs range from. The reason why I am getting them redone is one of the rims are bent and if they can fix it I will refinish them. I would love to buy new rims but I just bought some new wheels for my truck...Who thinks I should keep the rims silver or go with gunmetal? Below is a pic..inputs would be greatly appreciated..

Gun Metal

usually when a rim is repaired the finish is damaged. If its on the inside i would not worry too much as its hard to see. I have had quite a few sets of wheels powder coated. So coaters are better than others as with anything else so do your research or see a bit of there work (not stuff in shop but customers). I have heard of pinholes and non smooth finish. As for cost it varies. Ive done basic one color. one set being sand blasted and another chem stripped. for a set of 18s it cost 100-150 a wheel would be my guess. but you could see differences based on your area(competition),color/s,prep costs in price i would guess as much at 20-30 a wheel.

Do a dark chrome like the work metal buff if possible, if not gunmetal

Just repair it... save money from painting it gunmetal and lower it.

Actually, I agree with this!

Had my wheels professionally painted gold for 160 bucks. That included all of the prep work he had to do, and repairing minor bits of curb rash here and there. I really wanted to do it myself, but I'm super happy I didn't. As for how much the repair would cost, that I could not tell you.
