Recommendations for all-weather tires?
Hey everyone,
Can anyone give any recommendations on a good set of all-weather tires for the RX-8? Something decent but also won't tear apart my wallet :) Thanks! |
Thread about this below. Best bet BF Goodrich Comp TA KDW2's, maybe the Yokohama ES100's. Over at the RB event RX-tasy was there, he was from Oregon I think. He had the Yoko's on his car. Maybe if he is reading he can chime in.

I hear good things about Pirelli PZero Nero M+S. Supposed to be nice all-seasons, about $150 each on tire rack, not too cheap but should last.

I had the Pirelli P-Zero Rossos before. Pirelli makes a good, quality tire. The tread wear was much nicer than the previous Continentals that I had.

Toyo Proxes4 or Falken Ziex-512's. The latter is quieter, but the former corners a little better. The Toyo's are brand new, but the 512's are consumer report's top rated high-performance all-season.
But really, I'd recommend against all-weather tires. If you drive your car hard, you'll find they generally suck at everything. |
what size are you putting on these. can you still go with the 18's and not slide all over the road in the winter???
