Rear Swaybar Endlink and Bushing differences by year?

Is there a difference in bushing size (the depth of poly between the bar pass through and the flat seat) in model year? I have an '06 and I've read of people having fitment issues with bushings. The bushing on my car is much shorter than the SuperPro Poly bushing which is supposed to fit the RX8. It's the same width, same diamter, but the SuperPro is too tall at the poly block.
Same with the rear endlink length. I bought a set of Whiteline adjustable links and I can't shorten the assembly enough to match the stock endlink length. I can just cut the threaded rod as a fix, but was simply wondering if anyone else has had fitment issues.

this is a know issue with most aftermarket rear endlinks, in addition to searching the Competition area you can also google for Miata aftermarket endlinks

I'm going to have to cut the rear endlink threaded rod as a fix to shorten the link to OEM length, as the vendor which I bought the Whiteline link set wants to charge me a 20% restocking fee for a return on the front endlink set, if I send the front and rear back to them (I don't want the front set if I can't install the rear set). Whiteline also bagged the wrong bolt instead of one of the M10X45mm high tensile bolt pair called out in the hardware list, so I'm going to have to source that bolt locally as well.
So far two thumbs down overall before they've been tested on the car.
