Sorry for the iPhone pics, it was pouring hard last night when I was installing it lol.

So. Do any of ya'll that do have rear struts noticed a decreased in the handling department during tight cornering? I dunno if it was my mind or what but somehow I felt the rear strut didn't really improve my handling. Yes the chassis itself is harder, I felt that, but I also felt that I'm more prone to oversteer and the turning radius is larger. WTF right? Weird... I'm gonna give it some more time for myself to adjust to the new addition and see how it really performs in the next auto-x.

and man the holes are really fugly.

That's what happens when you stiffen up the rear... Without that chassis flex thats been accounted for in the stock set-up the rears will oversteer easier. So no not weird at all.

The inverse would happen if you put a stiffer strut bar across the front. You would understeer.

You'll get accustom to it quicker at auto-x and I think once you're comfortable you'll appreciate the tendency to oversteer a little better and be faster.

^ thanks for your input.

hm I do have the same Cusco bar for the front, and I noticed quite a bit of understeer during auto-x events and so I thought the car was a bit unbalanced and thus set out to buy the rear bar. I thought that would bring some balance to the car, but no I was wrong, the car's less responsive and tend to run wide like I said.
Then again, I'll wait to see if I'll get accustomed to the setup in time.
and no TopGear8, ur not being helpful. again.

My point is, Shocks...Springs...Sway bars..Is all you need to make this car handle amazing.

The strut bar is not important. Yes it makes the chassis stiffer...But stiff is not always better, you want the car to have some roll so that it transfers weight to the outside wheels while going around a corner...If the chassis is too stiff the car will just step out on you when you are trying to put the power down.

There ya go! Thank You.
Wasn't that a bit easier lol

Yea, I'm beginning to think it's a bad idea, i might need to take the bar off and start messing with the shocks

I'm gonna tell you guys a secret: Strut bars do nothing, but some do look cool as hell.

For autocross...After getting the right shocks springs and swaybars, alot of people take the front strut bar off completely...

You'll certainly get a better opportunity to play with learning how to Throttle-steer.
