Pics of my new wheels - Looking for Tires now !

hey guys, heres a pics of new SSR D5R's. I'm either thinking about doing 255/35/19 all around or I might do 275/30/19 in the rear and 245/35/19 in the front. Not sure as of yet, but prices on tires and fitment will be the answer to that question. The wheels are 19 x 9.5 +40 all around. What do you guys think...

Yokohama S-drive are the lightest I could find for my size adn possibly overall.

that is a lot of rubber!

U stole my wheels....

JK - Good choice; the staggered tire sizes is not really necessary since your rims are the same width.

I was going to say, 245/35/19 tire on a 19x9.5 wheel? Would that even fit?

Kane 01-31-2008 01:09 PM

Yeah 245 will fit fine - that is what I run right now.

What about something like 265/30/19?

Unless that size is just too hard to find. Not really sure about 19 inch tires.

I think 275 will fit with a roll or negative camber. My offset is +28 so not apples to apples.

I am 90% sure Lurch has 275 on these same wheels same offset.

The 255/35/19 KDW2's weigh 26lbs per which is 2lbs less than the 225/45/18 RE40's that came with car. Not all 19" tires are heavy.

Forgot to add, great looking wheels! Be sure to post pics when you get them mounted:)

Thanks for the compliments and the fitment help. I am leaning towards 255/35/19 all around. . Looking for some deals although not in an hurry to put these on until the weather gets warmer.
