Optimum Alignment Settings?
 

Hey, after owning my car for 3,000 miles, the insides of the two rear tires are completely flat, down to that fabric beneath the rubber. They are Dunlop Direzza DZ101. I'm thinking now that my camber settings are too much, and am about to have my car realigned. What should I ask the mechanics to set my car at? I don't race or track my car, but of course I want stability and confidence through the corners. Thanks

No track or Auto X. I'd have them set to OEM specs.

Somebody posted the factory spec here, I believe it's in the competition forum. I would suggest look it up and tell them exactly what you want and ask for a print out. Lots of tech just set it in the 'green zone', so you could have wheels at the opposite end of the range. My wife's old car was aligned twice and still pull to one side.

IMO most of you are running too much rear camber ....

Too much rear camber makes the rear end transitions rough or vague somehow IMHO...I prefer even front / rear camber about 1.5 degrees (for street only)

Wow, I've gotten -.5 to -1.5 for rear camber. God, i'm so confused.

If you run about -1.5 front and -1.0 rear with zero or 1/16 toe front and 1/16 toe in the rear you would probably be good.
