Opinions on these wheels please

I know Konigs are not the greatest but I really like these wheels. What do you think? I will use my stockers powdercoated for autox duty.

eh, red, black, and chrome (or silver) center is just to much for one wheel

I think the machined center part will be too much of a contract on the black wheel and make it look smaller than it it. Already the red time attack stripe makes it look smaller.

I do think its a pretty picture though. Just think it won't looks as good on the car.

I just want something a little different. I would really like to see them on a VR. Would like to stay with 18x8 and spend under 1k for wheels. So many of the styles are getting played out.

You think a 40 offset is okay? I can get these for $816.00 shipped.

I think they would look good. your right about trying to get something a little different than the basic "Time Attack" as for the machined center it would match up with the "chrome" factory badging and the rotory accents(if you have them).

the 40 offset should be Ok mine are 42 and fit just fine..

just get some polished strakes----jk...

HAH, NO STRAKES FOR ME BUDDY! I am looking at different styles. A lot of the more common setups are common because they look good but I just get sick and tired of the same ol, same ol. I wish someone would take a VR and put every rim that would fit on it for me!!!!

hmmm, what style were you leaning for (i.e. mesh, mesh w/lip, 5 spoke, split spoke etc)?? i mean, being under a grand - it really narrows down your options as far as name brand stuff too

I actually like the design of the stock rims so thanks to a guy I know I will try some different colors in PC to find the perfect look. But I need and extra set to run around in and these are cheap. I am looking at other cost effective variations as well. I was thinking of maybe getting some stealies and painting them black.

It's hard because it seems that people in general shy away from liking something different simply because an expectation for the norm is set. Different is good!

Not only do I applaud your efforts to be different, but I also do think these would look really sick on a VR, such as yours. I say go for it and let the car do the talking. These will look much better on the car than they do free-standing. I, too, am not a huge fan of the machined center, but put them on and see what they look like. If the machined center still looks bad once they're on, painting them black is cake. As for the price, who cares? They're not a terribly bad company and unless you're racing with them, I have a really hard time justifying the spending of serious coin when you can get nice rims and spend your money elsewhere. My two cents. Go for it. They'll look **** on your VR. Post up pics!

Thanks, I like mesh wheels and I like a bit of a lip. these are not exactly mesh but the contrast of teh rim is nice to me. I know the price range limits me but I have seen some real nice setups for around 1k. There are some people with ebay specials looking sick. Thanks for the input.

There is all kinds of different. IMO these wheels are not a good example. If you are on a tight budget then look for used wheels and not something so over the top.

Cheap top run around on would = FN01's or a decent set of Enkei's, both of which can be found dirt cheap if you dig around enough. I like the design and such of these, but the finish just takes away from them, maybe if you got a set and had them powdercoated all one color, instead of the goth rainbow effect of the red, black, and silver they'd probably look pretty decent

epic fail... the center caps look tacky, the machined section is ugly and the spokes give me a headache.

^I think it's because the pic is too big. Can you post up a smaller pic, maybe? It gives me a headache, too.
