Opinion on Tires
 

At the beginning of this winter, when I went to have my Blizzaks put on my rims, my mechanic asked me if I wanted to keep my old tires? I said, well they only have 15K miles on them (stocks), why wouldn't I. He brought me back into the shop and my tires were down to the wear bands on the rears.

Now I baby my car, I have never "lit them up", but I do like to corner aggressively. The stock potenza's I have heard are terrible for wear life so, disheartened, I told him to dispose of the old ones. Now it's 1/2 way through winter here in Wisconsin, and I am looking at replacing my summer tires.

I have narrowed my search down to these 2 tires and I am looking to see if anyone has experience with either. Thanks for the input ahead of time.

First off, at the recommendation of a friend that has a buddy that is a Master Porsche mechanic and he suggested Bridgestone RE760 Sports.

Another person I asked was a friend that AutoX's here in Wisconsin with a RX-8, and he told me he really liked the Yokohama S.Drive tires.

Any information would be appreciated.
