Is it offset +22 good for rx8?

offset +22 good for rx8
Let me know
Thanks

No - too low; you'll have to do some serious rolling and stretching of the fenders...

staticlag 01-28-2008 01:12 PM

Depends on how much fender modification you can deal with.

bandalgom78 01-28-2008 01:19 PM

ohh.....I guess I have to go more than 35mm....
Thanks Guys~

Kane 01-28-2008 01:21 PM

I have +28 and I had to roll on a 9.5 Inch Wheel.

Tanaka826 01-29-2008 06:54 PM

i currently have 17x10s in the rear with 35 offset with 255/40r17 and i have no rubbing issue at all. it all depends on the size of the wheel. you cant just give us the offset.

MazdaManiac 01-29-2008 07:12 PM

Considering that the OE offset is something like 45mm...
I'm running 42mm in the back and 37mm up front.
Just barely clears.

Easy_E1 01-29-2008 07:14 PM

I thought the offset on stock was 50mm.

MazdaManiac 01-29-2008 07:24 PM

I don't think its that high. I think the '6 is in that range, though.

XDEEDUBBX 01-29-2008 07:27 PM

im running a 30 in the rear 9.5 rim with a 275 tire with fender trimming, no rub at all. But without the fender trim it will rub like crazy

swoope 01-30-2008 12:55 AM

the offset is 50.

beers

BigOLundh 01-30-2008 09:14 AM

depends on the width of the rim and is this for the front/rear.

post more detailed info on the rim if you want a correct answer. also... got one sticky thread just for this... no need another thread.

I think im running one of the widest rims and offset on this forum.

19 x 10 with a 25MM offset 275 tire in the rear. I had to CNC machine the hubs of my rotors / roll and stretch the fender and cnc the rear hub of the wheel to get them to fit. I do not rub very often, but on the occasional time i do.

Ok...
How about
18 X 8
18 X 8.5
18X9
18X10

How about these width??
What is the good offset for these width???
30-40mm is good right??

CosmosMpower 02-04-2008 02:19 PM

Just stick with a +35 and up offset and you'll be fine.

rafiky87 03-08-2010 05:15 PM

how bout
rear- 18x9.5 with either a +25 or +38 offset
front - 18x8.5 with either a +30 or +48 offset

which ones would work best on my 06 rx8? i reall dont wanna do no cuttin or rollin or nothin! car is not lowered!

Fate710 03-08-2010 05:28 PM

When my spacers come in I'll be right around +23 on a 18x10. I could buy the same wheel in a +15, but I think even with some super low pros and some serious stretch, it wouldn't work.
