Any pics from further away?

Tough to get a sense of how they look on the car so close.....but I like the clean look of them.

You didn't say what size those were... I'm assuming you went larger because the stock rims are puny?

Don't take offense, but I like the stock look better. The wheels look to "mechanical"... which I feel doesn't jive with the otherwise flowing design of the car body. It's probably all the rivets and too many spokes.

looks good! what kind of wheels?

Ole Spiff 01-30-2005 02:22 AM

You got the machined ones which were the ones I actually wanted. I settled for the chrome versions because the machined ones weren't going to be available for months. This was in July of last year. I think they look great and distinctive; not just another 5 spoke wheel that looks like a million other 5 spoke add-on wheels.

Too bad you fell for "clear" corners...I think the stock orange ones look rather good on the red, and that would also make your car distinctive compared to all the other modded ones that have clear corners.

Dropping it a little bit would help it visually but so far it looks good as-is.
