Need rear shocks

I am looking to purchase some rear shocks for the 04. Is their a preferred vendor that sales them at a reasonable price. OEM ride quality is fine. I found some at Rock Auto, but thought I would ask here before I made a purchase. I would love to support one of the vendors. I usually buy from Mazda, but figured I would possibly try something new .

really? READ.

seriously there is a thread about this 3 threads down in the same forum.

The title of my thread does not read "need sly comments". If you don't have an answer that is of any use, then do me the honor of not saying anything at all. I realize that the prevailing attitude in this forum is to do exactly what you did. Unfortunately that attitude seems to persist from the top down.

I am not asking for any help diagnosing my car, (unlike the thread you are referring to)I know whats wrong with it. Why don't you read the actual question. I would rather no one post a single response if this is the best you can offer....geez.

Try the "For Sale/Wanted" thread. Some members here might be selling their oem shocks because they upgraded, and its cheaper than buying new. :)

Thanks, I just figured that maybe you guys had a preferred vendor that was good to purchase these from. Not really interested in used shocks unless I know for sure they have very few miles on them. I do check out the for sale section daily, but have not seen any shocks that are of any interest to me.

Click through the links in the vendor section.

Get yourself some Koni Yellows or Tokico D-specs. Why not upgrade for close to the same price as new OEM.

If you were local, I would give you my old rear shocks. I don't want to go through the hassle of shipping.

Thank you. That is the kind of suggestion(s) I was looking for. Now I have something to search the forum for to determine if others liked them or not and if they are worth buying.

Where are you located? Free is a hard deal to beat :D:. I probably will be buying some within the next two weeks after I conclude my research. If you change your mind about shipping them let me know. I would gladly pay the shipping costs.

Thanks.
