Need Advice

Well i installed my tanabe sustec five, and its awesome! :) But thats not the problem. You guys know that upfront there is this oval hole that covers most of the coilover. and my adjusting piece sits underneath it. Like this \/\/

So question is, Could i cut that oval piece that sits over it?? Im pretty sure that it wouldn't hurt if i did but i just want to make sure. My fingers are too big and strut bar is always in way, have to use both my hands and 2 fingers to barely move it. I do plan to get the indoor adjusting comp but not yet.
Thanks

I would recommend against doing so

Did you ask Tanabe if they make extensions? I can only assume that it's this short for the electric adjuster to fit on it.

Otherwise the strut bar is easy to remove and install; four 10mm nuts and it's off ...

What are you doing on the rear shocks?

I havent but its a pain doing this everytime, and even with it removed it only makes it a slightly easier job. But i will c what they have. Rear comes up pretty far up so its way easier, i will get a picture and post it later.
