Looking for Good (economical) tires for distance driving

I do about 125-150 miles a day driving, i'm needing new tires,
anyone have any recommendations for a good tire that will last for the type of driving that i do? At a half decent price?

Thanks

I had a set of BFGoodrich g-Force Sports that held up pretty well treadwear wise but I never really liked them. They were just blah performance wise.

I went through a set of Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD07s in one year. The tread burned off the tires faster than I could order a new set.

I now have Continental ExtremeContact DWs on and they're super quiet but too early to weigh in treadlife wise. They're a super soft rubber but super quiet. Did I mention they're super quiet?

The Continental Extreme Contact DWS are the top rated ultra performance All-season tires and have 50,000 mile treadwear warranty. Many RX8 owners I know have them and they seem to wear much better than the more expensive Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and the Pirelli P Zero Nero A/S tires. They tested as better on treadwear than these others also. The Continentals can be had for $150 each at Tire Rack. Shop around and see if you can beat that price maybe. If you don't need All-season tires where you are in Texas, then the regular (non A/S) versions of the Continental, Michelin or Pirelli's listed above would give you good wear, along with great handling. BTW my brother lives in Southlake, not far from you. He has my old silver Mazda Protege EX I gave him.

Yeah, get the DW ... not the DWS ... got mine from the rack too.

Thanks, i'll check out the DW's

Hey Guys - I'm thinking about getting the DW's too - is there any issue with keeping the TPMS with those tires? Sorry I don't know much about how the pressure monitoring system works...

no issue with factory tpms or 3rd party system
