Koni + S-tech & Mazdaspeed Bodykit?

Alright so my car is already sitting on s-techs on stock shocks with the ms kit, and the drop is very nice, perfect for the kit imo. But I have been looking at putting the stechs on Koni's and am wondering how much lower this will make the car. I know the Koni's will drop the car a bit more but I couldn't find any solid numbers on this.

I would like the suspension upgrade, I figured I might as well go with konis instead of coils for daily driving, and am just trying to make sure my car will still be practical with the bodykit at that height. Does anyone know how much lower my car will be if I swap out oem shocks for konis? Info would be much appreciated. Pics would be sweet too if you can find any with the MS kit, i haven't been able to find much.

I have a 2004 6-speed manual, how can I tell if I have the sports suspension option, thanks.

I used to have Koni dampers with s-tech springs. I have the full mazdaspeed body kit and it was fine. If memory serves me well the konis will drop it 1/2 inch. Someone else may want to confirm that.

I never really had a problem with scraping. Just be careful about the front end on steep inclines.

Awesome, this is what I was hoping to hear. Another half an inch isn't too much.. I'm already used to avoiding scrapes on a daily basis at stech height, the koni's will just take it a little further.

1/2" more drop with the Koni's vs stock shocks is about right

This certainly isn't the thread to ask that question.. But you most likely have the sports option, google is your friend ...

Does anyone have any pics of the koni/stech combo with the mazdaspeed kit? I'm mainly interested in seeing how low the front sits, even though I think I'll be okay.

Thanks, I think this is the setup I'll go with.

Also, are any of you experiencing strange things with your account on here? My PM Box limit has dropped from 200 to 50 and I can no longer create threads. I have no clue why it's happening.

I believe Chris had the exact setup you are talking about.
