Just Installed RB Springs, RB Sway Bars & MS Strut Tower Bar

I just installed the RB Springs, RB Sway Bars (w/ front endlinks), Mazdaspeed Front Strut Tower Bar, RB Spark Plug Wires, Stainless Steel Brakelines, and RB Exhaust.

On visual appearance the stock front strut tower bar is miniscule compared to the MS version. The MS front strut tower bar is a good 3X thicker. And the carbon fiber design looks really great. Unfortunately, you can not put the stock engine cover back on as the bar is too big. Also the stock rear sway bar is small when compared to the RB unit.

In terms of the suspension mods after getting it back from my mechanic, at first I could not feel a difference between the stock car & with the new mods. I felt that it was only a very little bit stiffer. Hardly noticeable, but then I played around with the car and once you push it a bit, all I can say is that the whole car feels"tighter." I guess the best temr is it just feels more "planted." The turn in is more crisp, and the handling is just a bit better than stock. I haven't really gone balls out with it yet. My last car was extremely stiff (911 w/ sports suspension) so this was still very compliant. I feel that this car would probably handle a bit better when pushed to the limit.

Now the weak point of this car that I feel are the stock tires. They definitely feel a little "soft" compared to the suspension setting now. I will probably switch to some BF Goodrich Comp TA KD's or Michelin Pilot Sport in the future.

Notice any difference in body roll?

I did not at first but after driving it around for a few hours I do notice that it doesn't dip quite as much on hard turns. It is not a huge difference but it is noticeable.

Nah, I got the spare tire mounting kit. I was really surprised on how small the stock front shock tower bar, and rear sway bars were. Those are definitely things I would upgrade (first).
