Just got my Dunlop M3's put on

I gotta say, what a great tire. I notice virtually no difference in riding comfort between my Kumho ECSTA SPT tires and these Dunlop M3's. Very good at handling, as well.

If they perform as well in the snow as they do on dry pavement, I'm going to be very satisfied. All reviews I've ever read regarding them hail them as one of the best all time winter tires, so I'm very optimistic....

They're great tires in the snow. Force them to slide once or twice, and you'll see how much they want to snap back. Just take it easy on them - they're not summer performance tires. I checked the tread depth on mine after one season, and they haven't lost a measurable amount of tread. :)

Awesome to hear regarding tread life! I was going to go with the Blizzaks but I heard that the thread life is only around 20k. Glad to hear these will last a heck of a lot longer (they certainly weren't cheap).

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I'm looking forward to trying them out myself in the snow.

This is the third season that I'm running my M3s. They've already got 20k on them and they look practically new. You should be good to go for a few years. ;)

Entering my 3rd season as well now with my M3's... they are noticeably more squishy then my bald RE040's but much much quieter and give a more comfortable ride (probably the 17" size with larger sidewall helps)

Just drove my M3s in the snow last week. I was pleasantly surprised with how well they did. Then again, I got them because everyone on this board recommended them so highly.
