iForged TMPS adapter

Anyone put these onto their Enkei RP-F1s?

I might consider it just to get rid of the light, but I would like to know they will not trash my wheel.

hmmm down the street from me...

carbonRX8 10-20-2008 08:20 PM

That mean you are going to go check them out??? Or is that a line from a song?

pdxhak 10-20-2008 09:58 PM

looks promising!

Not sure of your OEM TPMS situation but i have the stock sensors in mine.

carbonRX8 10-21-2008 05:03 AM

how? They dont have a flat spot to mount them. When did you get them? (and where?)

I had my old wheels/tires, threw them in the back of my car, went down to Les Schwab, asked them to swap out the sensors and viola. I honestly didn't think it was going to work. I figured i was going to get a call saying they couldn't mount them but they did and they work... Or they some how disengaged my TPMS and i'm just an idiot. Either way, my TPMS light is not on so i don't really care either way.

Give it a shot if you still have them. I think they charged me 60-70 bucks but I can't remember. i had an alignment at the same time and i can't remember how much they charged me for each of the services.

can't you just use the OEM ones?

You mean besides the fact that they dont mount up? I dont understand your question.

pdxhak 10-22-2008 02:32 PM

If this was available when I was looking for wheels then I would definitely have a different set.

The Tire Rack website says the OE sensor fits. :dunno:

Of the five sets of wheels I have had on my car only one set had a "flat" in the area of the sensor, but I have successfully used them on all of my wheels.
