Well they appear to be WAT racing developement

Welcome. I couldn't tell you anything about the coilover, but you should make an introduction thread with pics of you and your car.

You couldn't google your way out of a wet paper bag, you will fit in well around here ... :p:
Cheap Taiwan crap .... http://watop.com.tw/e/chassis01.htm#01 . |
I am usually very good at google and tried just about every combination I could think of. Perhaps my computer just knows better than to show me cheap Taiwan crap. These must be knock offs of some brand. There are no english teachers or engineers in Taiwan.
Explains a few issues with the suspension. Thanks for the link. |
OK here is the story from the previous owner of the car. He believes the Wheels were "Agency Power". Indicated that he was friends with someone at vividracing who aquired them for him but that Agency Power never offered them for sale.
I suppose this is possible. Perhaps they were a test set that were being considered for rebranding. They do have the WAT racing development label on the rear. The fronts are unmarked. They actually appear to be made pretty well. Don't have any idea about the internals. The springs according to the web site are 619 front and 396 rear. Explains the ride. Will have to do untill I can afford something else. At least I know what they are and where they are set at now. Found out you have to drop the rears to adjust them as there is no access. Tried to make a remote adjuster but ran out of time and none of the cables I tried were stiff enough. I also tried the flexible outside part of a parts picker brazed to an allen it worked but was so stiff you couldn't feel the clicks and it lost the temper in the material at the braze so it wouldn't have lasted long. Good thing is all you have to do is drop them to access the adjuster. If you want to remove them then have to take out the rear lower link and the sway bar. |

to the OP: I would defintely swap out that POS suspension sooner rather then later. there are usually tons of deals in the For Sale subforums for good strut / spring combos or even coilovers if that's what you really want. |
