ideal wheels for FI

hey im looking for new rims and plan on going FI in the future, so what wheel width would be best for someone with FI? also what offsets can we use with our 8?

9.5" in the back with 275's in the back. For traction, though it will come at the expense of a bit of understeer. I went with a 34mm offset. Also if your car is dropped lower than 1.25" then you may have to go to 265's unless you roll the fenders.

since stock rims are 18x8 would there be a significant differences if i bought 18x7.5?

what upgrades are best for wheel spin besides tires/rims

Don't see why you would go smaller in diameter for wheels, especially if you're going FI at some point.

thats true... maybe ill just get a second set of tires for track...

what do you think of the 5-ZIGEN JDM MK-6 ??
would this fit our 8 18x7.5 ET 42 BOLT 5-114.3 / 5-100

agreed if you got fi in the future I would look into wheels with a diameter of 9 inches or more all around with 265s. Would probably give you enough grip. Please don't go 7.5

Personally, I do plan on FI and will be going with the 9.5 diameter 275/35 tires at all four corners. And like some others already on this forum, the Enkei RP-F1s look like the ones for me.

As far as traction, imo, you should upgrade the sway bars and shocks/springs to control the roll and wheelhop before significantly increasing the power.
