I cannot Thanks enough to Racing Beat!!!

I cannot Thanks enough to Racing Beat - Jim, who I later learn is the owner of the company and Mike.

Let make a long story short, I bought a set of front and rear sway bar from Racing Beat on Monday June 30th. Have both install Tuesday morning by a shop which from the begining thought will give me some discount since I know someone who know them very well. Anyhow, they charge me $250.00 for their labor which took them about 1.5Hr no discount what so ever. I drove back to my office and started to hear some noise coming from the front. I then remember that I told the installer to make sure to put lots of greese on the pushing. He told me Racing Beat did not provide any greese for the front, just one tube for the back. "There should be enough greese on the pushing already" one guy told me, then carry on installing the sway bar. Well, last night and this morning, the car started to make louder sound. I was intented to bring my car back to the installer today to have them fix this problem. SO HERE COME THE GOOD PART.....

I am guessing that possibly because the pushing has no greese, so I drove by Racing Beat which 5 min from where I work to purchase some greese and have the installer greese the pushing. I got there, told Mike who work for Racing Beat about my problem and asking them for their opion about this matter. They told me to bring my car to their product testing shop. Jim when out, jack the car up, took out the pushing, greese them up, reinstall it with me standing there just feeling so greatful that I bought Racing Beat product.

On the side note, I also get to see the new header installed in the car. It look sweet.

Jim, I thank you and will not forget this.

Ben

That was nice of him. :icon_tup:

The original shop raped you, in price and service. There's a nice DIY section of this site that can help with all different types of installs.

I believe the part you're referring to is called a bushing.

Yeah RB is awsome I have their Mid Pipe and EXhaust love both and am patiently waiting for the header did they happen to give you any info on it.

They told me that the header is ready to go. It will run no more than $600.00, but don't take my word for it. They still wasn't sure as far as pricing go. Man, it look nice, much better than stock. The rest, I can't say more because don't know if I should. Sometime, talking too much may not be good for everyone.

You paid $250 to install some sway bars? You could have had a friend help you at no cost, and it would take less than 2 hours.

Rotr8 07-02-2008 07:33 PM

oohhh yeah the header is a long time coming and is supposed to be out end of summer,,, so getting that,,,,,,,,finally:jump: :jump:

just to add to your review of Racing beat products, I have been going back and forth with what I want to do with my car in the process I have order a couple of things from Racing beat that I ended up shipping back, they never gave me any trouble Especially {Kris} he has been great gave me an RA number each time without blinking, also had no problem with ordering replacment parts for their intake including a new filter (there have been other vendors in the past that for some reason do not stock extra replacment parts for some of their kits)
this is not a problem with RB

I love the cusotmer service with these guys and if I do order more parts I will try them first

TThell 07-03-2008 07:07 PM

just stating my opinion.
I know that there are plenty of threads started whenever a company messes up, why not post when they do good
