Hotchkis Sway Bars
Hotchkis now has 3 way adjustable Sway Bars for the RX8.

gotta disagree with those rates, no way is there that much of a % change between adjustment holes
and the Progress Tech bars can be had for under $290 shipped ... |
I'm considering going from AP to the Progress Tech bars. I'm just posting this up to offer drivers an other option. Plus, Hotchkis has a good name.
|
Hotchkis is regarded well. Glad to see them come out with some bars for our cars.
|
best thing about progress is the price tag
|
I had added Hotchkis bard to my '05 STi. They worked well. I never played around with the adjustments, so I can't comment on that part.
|
hotchkis does make good products, i almost bought an STI before and would have got hotchkis sways too probably. but progress makes good products as well and the price is a good amount lower

Hotchkis was recommended to me by Jon, the owner of JIC magic. He did a test for a magazine and knocked off 2 seconds on a test course. I have mounted the front bar with AP linkends this weekend. I will mount the rear bar when I receive the awr link ends. I will test them out on the skid pad at the Rotary exposition at Summit Point this Friday.
|
by the way, can AP endlinks be used on any other aftermarketing sway bars.....beside racing beat i meant(i know i have to drill the holes bigger on the arm to fit)

The AP links do not require drilling the arms.
I am very happy with the hotchkis bars. I started out with both bars on the softest setting. I did a skid pad session last Friday and then changed the rear bar to the middle hole and retested on Saturday with better results |

390% stiffer than stock is the softest setting for the rear?????
I am running Hotchkis sways on my Z and they are a great product, but that is crazy stiff. I guess Hotchkis knows what they are doing.:dunno: I'd like to hear a review though.... |
