Help Rear Tires 245/45R18

Help,
Just got a great deal on winter tires Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25
only problem is the rears are 245/45R18 and the front are 225/45R18
Will this screw-up my speedo. Man did I blow IT!
Thanks

Yes, but only by a little. I'd be more concern about your ABS/TCS

Personally I would be more concerned with the fact that your snow tires are wider than the OEM tires, giving you more of a chance to slip in the snow. Typically you want to go narrower with a snow tire, to help the wheel bite down to the pavement and get grip.

sell them to someone that will be able to use them because you sure wont be able to.

Do have them up for sale, talk to my tire guy on the weekend said it's not a big issue throw out speedo less than 2%.
Thanks

the issue is the rear wheels will be moving slower than the front which if you have dsc will mess the hole system up since it works by sensing the speed of the wheels in relation to one another. secondly a wider tire will tend to float on top of the snow like a snow shoe instead of cutting throu it like they're supposed to.

Good point never thought of the dsc, Traction Control, I'm going to get another pair of the 225/45/18's maybe today and just sell the 245's
Take the loss if need be
Thanks
Keep the shiny side up!
