Help a noob with rims, do these fit?
I found a set of rims that I like. They are used, but a very good price. Problem is I have no understanding of the numbers he gave me, to see if it will fit on my rx8.
I hoping some of you can tell me if these will work find on my 8. Front 18x8.0 (+37) 114.3 5H Back 18x9.0 (+45) 114.3 5H I think thats all of it, will these rims fit without any problems? |

...if you have stock height on your suspension, there shouldn't be any problem. now if you lower your car, depending on the width of the tire that you use and how low you wanna go, you might need to roll your fenders. |
The rims are not on the net.
But they are Super Advan Gen II I can see if i can find a pic on the net. |

What exactly is roll your fenders? Sorry but this is the first car worth looking for rims, and I dont really know much about it. |

Thanks you all for the quick response.
I'll post when I put them on... sigh... new tires. :) |
the rims will work just fine
FYI: rolling your fenders is taking the inner lip of the fender and rolling it back so you can fit a wide wheel/tire set up and not rub when you take a bump its up to you about what size tire you want to run but i would recomend running a 225/45/18 on the front with a 255/40/18 on the rear the sizes are so close but you still get a staggered tire set up 114.3/5 is the general bolt pattern for most 5 lug japanese imports. as far as I know that bolt pattern is used for both mazda and nissan the offset will be conservative but it will look very nice congrats man! |
