Style is subjective. I personality love the look of gold wheels on a yellow car. Don't worry about what anyone else here things, go with what you like. After all, you're building a car for YOU, not for anyone else here.

 

I was messing with wheel combos on TireRack and I kinda think that the white O.Z. Alleggerita HLT wheels with LY looks decent.

 

Banana creme pie theme works too lol.

 

Yellow and white. Yeah I'd get hungry every time I looked at it I guess.

 

Purple on the LY seems too much like LA Lakers. I want to do gun metal for my next set of wheels.

This is one of locals, hers are a satin black face with a brushed lip. I could see this style in a gunmetal face with the lip, it would look nice. These wheels are stock spec with 245/40-18 tires and she is lowered on Tein STechs on KYB Gasadjusts.

 

Those are not bad for black.

Nice LY, but I don't like strakes & the black fuel lid.

 

It was a factory option, it is polished. But yeah it is not my style either. But I don't hate it. I also dislike strakes except when they are black and on a black car.

 

I didn't know that, I thought mine had all the options, but I guess not.

 

There are a lot weird OEM accessories out there for the RX-8.

 

I suspect it's a dealer installed option.
