Fierce Tires?

Anyone ever heard of this tire? Checked(Searched:yesnod: ) on the web. Made by Goodyear "For the tuners" Weired thing is I also found them on the Kellytire & Remington websites. I waited too long before replacing my shoes and being stuck here on Maui the tireshop only has the Feirce and Riken brands in stock for my size(18"). Need the tires so will opt for one of these tires. Maybe next time I should buy the before its to late.:scratchhe

Yikes, I wouldn't spend the money on Riken tires as I've seen first hand they don't grip very well. I've had a friend show me Fierce tires but their website made me feel like I needed to be a ricer to roll on them.

220 treadwear tires for $80ish a tire? I'm all for a deal but I am unsure about the quality. If you get either, post up your feelings about them!

Well I got a set of the Feirce and a four wheel alignment, boy my rear camber was way off(negative) . I didn't think the Tein S springs would make that much differents : .380 treadwear. I guess I'll be the guinie-pig, Hopefully not a crash-test dummie. For now just wearing the wax off:us4allswi

380 treadwear! nothing like rolling around on hard rubber!

Funny thing is, the High performance tires are 380, but the UHP (Ultra High Performance) ones are 420... go figure.

420, that seems oddly appropriate.

Silver_Surfer 06-23-2008 11:35 AM

My factory Don-nos were 280 so will see..:dunno:

Yeah I know. Everything about this seems backward.:banghead:

tire manufacturers make their own treadwear ratings. comparing across brands means nothing. its pretty arbitrary.

Ok wet traction a wee bit better than the stock tires. Dry traction the jury is still out. My guess is when these tires gets old and hard they'll be scary. You get what you pay for.
