A few suspension questions after surveying under my car.

1st is the trailing arm. I assume that this needs to be replace.

The other side is not bent but doesn't look perfectly straight.

I also notice the subframe bushing looked uneven on one side compared to the other.

Finally I have one of those rx8 with limit front driver camber and I will be adding a busing to correct the issue. Nothing seems out of the ordinary.

Yup that arm definetly took a good hit and needs replacing

Damn hit the other side too. Went off on a bad section off the track. My rear driver side alignment is off for sure and the arms sustained a little bit bent on the driver rear too now. From these pictures do the driver lower control arm and trailing arm links need to be replace too?

Turns out I'm not Ayrton Senna in the wet.

And it looks like I need a welder to add a piece of steel to protect my lines.

Damn DK. That rust is crazy.

Since I see San Diego, I was at buttonwillow and went off on phil hill. That hill was meant to upset the suspension, and doing those right are a lot of fun. It was last week when it was pouring before so the dirt sinks you in, its not hard pack like Willow Springs or Chuckwalla. The track gets pretty silty so if you go off you can do a lot of damage, yeah I hit the curb on the track. I slide going over the hill on the left side of the track and went across all the way to the right, because the car in front of me also slid off too. I gave it some steering so I wouldn't hit him. He was fine cause his car pointed straight, mines didn't. O wells..........I still did a 2:06 with a messed up alignment and the wheel was hopping entering sunset at 104mph.

My next event is a Big Willow and I will hit about 115mph to 120mph at turn 8, so I better get it fixed before then.

The car was originally from Michigan so that explains the rust.

The left side might have just got the alignment knocked out of it - it doesn't seem anywhere near as messed up as the passenger rear.

I live in Vegas, instead of dealing with rust, I get rubber that turns to plastic then breaks causing vacuum leaks and other similar issues. Seeing this makes me happy I don't have to work with all that rust. I Also have a 280zx which I'm slowly restoring and may I recommend you check out some of Eastwoods rust solutions before this gets even worse? The brush on Rust Encapsulator is a great deal.
