Enlarging Hub Bore

Has anyone used a cylinder hone to enlarge a wheel hub bore? I have some wheels with a 66.1 hub bore and need a 67.1.

Prob easier if you just buy one of those universal spacers.

Volk bores out all their wheels to fit the RX8. I am sure that the 1mm won't matter.

Nothing a lathe wouldn't fix :)

I have found a machine shop to do it. They want $140 for the set. I am VERY concerned that they may scratch a wheel in the process. With only 1mm needing to be removed that is why I was wondering if anyone had tried a cylinder hone. If it works I would have saved $140 and for sure will not have a scratched wheel. Does anyone think it's possible? I would obviously go very slow, and watch the temps with a non contact thermo.
