damaged wheel stud threads
 

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a thread file to fix some damaged threads on a couple lug studs of mine. Ive searched but all my searches result in me finding files that fix the threads on lug nuts and bolts and the like and not the actual lug studs themselves.

Hope someone can help!

a die and some cutting oil will work or they do come out and put another in

a die and cutting oil? whats that? (sorry for ignorance)

usually better to replace the stud when this happens...unless you did it dragging the wheel across the studs or something. Usually screwed up threads mean screwed up studs as well....

It's actually the stud on a hubcentric spacer. Bought it from a member here that either neglected to mention or didn't know that 2 of the studs had bad thread on one of the spacers.

That's even easier ;)
