Chrome isn't a good look on a 8.

thanks for the pics 9krpmrx8. that first pic made up my mind. i would have been pretty dissappointed. after some searching i have been looking at the axis shine's but rims are so much. what do ya'll think about powder coating?

My advise:

If your looking to powder coat the OE wheels i would think twice. It does give the car a different appeal, but only for a a short time IMO. I say this because many people that I know personally go towards powder coating to save on cost but get tired of the look of the OE wheel in general. Which leads them into buying a set of wheels that they truly love. My advice would be to save up and get something that you really enjoy. You say your liking the Shines, there's your starting point-- you have a interest in a particular look. Work from that

Good Luck!

9k, what are those 2nd wheels? They look like west coast corvette wheels.
