brake change

Yesterday I took my 8 to the dealer for a oil change and a tranny flush. the dealer calls me back and says im going to need new brakes pretty soon. i ask him how much will it cost he tells me 229$ for front and 229$...i really dont know if this would be a right price. so i decided to look for brakes online and this is what i found.

does this look like a good deal, has anyone tried these any adivce would be appriciated. or am i better off just buying stock pads and rotors again?

Thank you in advance

I would think the quote was for labour and new pads...you probably don't need new rotors yet...Might just want to put in a set of new pads of your choice instead....

Should be OK at about $150 for all 4 corners for street pads

Brake jobs are notoriously expensive at dealerships. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, just do some searching on the internet and make some calls at some local shops. I'm sure you'll find someone that will do for much less than the dealership. Also, stay away from those shops that specialize in brake jobs. They have been known for shady business practices....at least the ones my area!

That's a cool signature pic btw.

Don't buy stock brakes.

Get some carbon kevlars from Porterfiel brakes.

No more squeal or dust.
