Beat Rush tranny brace, a ton of noise and vibration

Ive searched around for any info on the BR tranny brace, not much out there...
Anyway I have the Petit SC so I figured this would be a nice addition to steady some of the load on the powertrain, but its resulted in alot of droning noise and vibration, Im gonna check everything again tomorrow to see if things are nice and tight.
I called a couple non-8 people and they have said that its typical because you are now absorbing the vibration into the part of the frame that usually doesnt vibrate with the engine...
Anyone have any experience with this???
If its the case that this is typical its coming rigt off, I have a DD not a track car I like the quiet whine of the SC not a droning track'esque noise fest....

Did it firm up the powertrain slop?

Beatrush products are produced by Laile after extensive testing on race tracks in Japan. Each Beatrush brace is designed to improve the responsiveness of the RX8 platform with quality, strong, and yet low weight bolt on parts. Brian's RX8 APPLICATION NOTES: Mazda power plant frame does an incredible job of tying the engine and powertrain together into one unit and then isolating it with rubber mounts from the car...which is good for a street car but for a track or autocross RX8 needing more precision this item reduces transmission movement for more crisp and precise shifts and transmission function with a downside of more vibration transmission. Simple bolt on installation.

polyurethane motor mounts already causes vibrating dashboards... i can't imagine what it would be like with a tranny brace!

it must be shit bad. i would definitely take it off!

i've seen oem tranny brace upgraded with polyurethane bearings over the stock rubber. i hope you try this solution or come up with one other than a solid connection for everyday driving.

any chance you can get some hard rubber washers between the brace and the tranny?

Did you reset the front Power Plant Frame (transmission side) to the proper height? Did you re-torque the four Power Plant Frame bolts (transmission side) to the proper spec?

If not, try it before you decide to take it off. :eyetwitch
