Auto-X and daily driver... coilovers or shocks/springs?

I don't really care about the height adjustability, but the stiffness and softness of the ride, I'd like to adjust for Auto-X and then back to daily driving.

What's my best bet? Coilovers do it all, but I'm wondering if they are worth it, especially with the cost difference.

Thanks for any advice.

Koni adjustables are only adjustable on the fly up front. The rear dampers need to come off to be adjusted. Tokico D-Spec have adjustability on the car both front and rear. Perhaps that's you're best bet if you want to be able to adjust both. The Koni seem to be the most competitive however (if that's what you're looking for). I have them on as a set and forget spring at 50% firm front, 25% rear for HPDE track days and they're very forgiving around town.

Konis and Mazdaspeed springs, let me know if you'd like personal assistance with them

try the springs and shocks paired with the strongest sways you can find. the ride should be less harsh on the street, compared to having coilovers with high spring rates which you'll feel day-in&day-out.

having beefy sways lets you compromise for street comfort until that corner comes where its pushed.
