ARK Design R8 Wheels

Hello guys, looking for opinions on these wheels. Now I like being unique and running things that a lot of people never seen or heard of. A friend of mine which is a track nut mentioned these wheels to me and say they are great track wheels for a reasonable budget. Design is a little weird but its functional and I have to admit the design grows on you. I want them in Gun Metal, Opinions please :D My other rim choices are RPF1 or NT03 btw.

Heres the info on these wheels:
ARK Design's R8 Wheel is a lightweight one-piece design, developed for style, performance, and strength. The R8 features eight solid spokes with progressive thickness plus a signature "Balance Ring" to provide rigidity for reduced wheel flex and strength from direct impact. The spoke and rim design are specifically developed for large high-performance brake caliper and rotor clearance.

The R8 is available in 18 or 19 inch diameter and various widths and offsets to fit numerous cars. ARK Design's R8 wheel has gone through rigorous quality testing and is JWL (Japan Light Alloy Wheel) and VIA (Vehicle Inspection Association) certified.

I saw these on an Evo a few years ago; everyone in that thread hated them. I can appreciate the structural rigidity, but you have to draw the line somewhere on aesthetics. Nt03's are a good compromise...

Definitely unique, but I agree with Ross about the NT03's

Personally, I'm not the biggest fan. I'd much prefer the nt03m's

Yeah I'm leaning towered nt03. No one seems to like these lol. So what would be the best offset to look aggressive and still be great on the track. I want 18x9.5 or 17x9.5 and I like some tires in there. I don't like super thin sidewalls

If you're willing to do some fender work you can get the 9.5 +27 w/265's to work out nicely, if not, 9.5 +45 like the rest of the club with 275's

Yeah, roll all four fenders and you'll have to shave the rear tabs. Camber around -2.2 probably and you're good to go.

Like I said, if you're worried about camber or these other little things, maybe the +45 would be the best option for you. You can't have flush fitment without getting dirty
