Anyone running Bridgestone Potenza S03?
The RE040'a are ready to be replace (at 16K miles). Just one day at Thunderhill can be tough on these tires. I had great luck with Potenza S02 and S03 on my Miata. I'm interested in anyone's experience on the RX-8 with these tires.

I got one. (Yes. Only one. I'll be getting a matching tire for the other rear wheel soon). Because the tires are mismatched, I haven't done any spirited driving with it.
Check out these Tire Rack tests, though: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...sport_maxx.jsp http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/gy_f1_gs_d3.jsp http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/max_max_perf.jsp http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/bs_s03_rd.jsp |
The S-02 has a stiffer sidewall than the S-03, which is quieter. I liked the S-02s better. Currently using Michelin PS2's which are a newer compound and the current darling of TireRack.
