Anyone with experience with Yokohama Advan Neova AD07's?

I'm looking to replace my Continental Extreme Contacts (Ultra High Performance All Seasons) with Neova AD07's. I am aware that they are sticky extreme performance summer tires with somewhat low treadwear rating. Can someone give a detail input on these tires?

They will have much more grip....But won't last nearly as long as the tires you are replacing...

What more do you want to know?

consider Yokohama Sdrive, they last longer

I have these now... Very sticky and wearing fast :)

Just wondering on personal experiences rather than number specs written on a website.

They are on my car now. Have had them for about 2 months. They stick to the road well, are not too bad in wet conditions and are wearing rather quickly.

They're fairly quiet... Quieter than the stock tires but noiser than my winter Dunlop graspics.

Pretty sure they're discontinued too.. Tirerack ro example is selling them out at $99 a pop

How many miles have you put into them so far? What is your driving style and how long do you expect the tire to last?

TopGear8 04-25-2010 08:00 PM

If your worried about how long these tires are going to last...Don't bother. They could last you anywhere from 4000 miles to 15000 miles, depending on if you AutoX, or do HPDE events...If you don't, then you don't need this tire.

I've used AD07 and loved them. Well worth the cost IMO.
You won't be disappointed

I plan on using these on my stock wheels for a year because I plan on getting 9.5's all around next year. I wanted to put treadwear into consideration because I will probably get 6000-8000 miles into the tires until I get replacements. Even though it is not my highest concern, I would still like to know.

I do want more steering response because the tires I have now have such soft sidewalls, that even if I press on the treat with my fingers, the sidewalls will flex. I also get a lot of understeer during spirited drives because the front will simply not stick.

i have a set of these things sitting in my attic. i also got a set from tirerack. i have a buddy who does a lot of track days, and he said that these things are definitely a step up from the RE050 Pole Positions I have on my car, which in and of themselves are a step up from the stock dunlops i had. if you're using these things on a daily basis and drive in a spirited manner a few times a week at most, i'd bet you could get 10k miles out of these.

that's my completely (un)educated guess.

I had a set of Advan Sports on last, and they were great.
