2pc Lug Nut Torque
I got kics R40 lugs before the winter, and just put them on last night.
I usually torque my lugs (Gorilla small socket ones) for 95 ft-lb or so. however, i felt the kics just keep turning because of the washer on the lugs, and make me a bit worried. I searched for any info on what torque people are using for those 2pc lugs, and had no luck... I found these pictures of the same lugs as mine (except i don't have the locks), and on second picture, I read that instructing to torque103N-m (10.5kgf-m), which is equivalent of about 75ft-lb... (and yes, i do read Japanese...) considering TSB recommend 108ft-lb for the lugs, I feel 75ft-lb seems not enough, but any thoughts on how tight I should torque it? Thanks!

I have a set of BRAND NEW Project Kics Racing Composite R40 Lug nuts in gunmetal. I havent even taken them out of the box yet. They have locks included so they are a bit more expensive then the basic ones. I originally bought these to use when i get my new wheels but there are other mods id like to get done first. These are pretty light and they do not fade color. Bought them for $250 but im asking $230 for them. :wavey: Here are pics:
