18x9 Rota G-Force question
18x9 G-Force
1) I'm making sure this is the correct size as it's listed for Suabru 2) Is there a 10" version of this I can use to stagger? |
Yes that's the right size and offset for a good look. Staggering is stupid and pointless on an underpowered car with 50/50 weight distribution.
|
Thanks!!
No stagger :) |
Yeah they should be good, I'm getting them tomorrow in Hyper Black, and trying to figure out ideas for tire size. But I was looking and there's not 10s. Any ideas of what your going to do for wheels? And btw, try getting them from A-Spec Wheels, their $50 cheaper and they can bundle them with tires ;)
|
Thanks Ramos!! I actually just picked up the last 4 Falken 245/35 18s from normal guy..going to have a hair of stretch but I'm fine with that. I've done business with wheeldude before and never had a problem..plus I just got a 10% off thing from them ;)
|
18 x 9 +30 is pretty weak in my opinion. And I run a staggered setup on my Turbo RX-8 without an issue. But you know what they say about opinions.

OP, if you like the look of a nice wide tire in the back, no reason not to get that look. As my 17 year old says... YOLO. lol. |

You can still go 9 all around and fit 245 in front and easily a 275 or even 285's in the rear. Either way, use your money, build the car YOU dream about.
Good luck! |
I have a set of Falken 245/35 ready to go...love those tires so muchhttp://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=3&theater

True. There are several online calculators that will figure it for you. Definitely doable.
|
I'm stretching 225/45s for a lip in front and bigger tires in the back, 245/40. Talked to the A-Spec Wheels owner and he said that it wasn't going to be an issue, he's seen a lot more stretching. So tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports in the front and Falken Ziex in the back. Hope to see pictures Panda! I post some myself.

Thanks haha but you're doing it the right way! My wheel gap looks horrendous although I have tein s-techs in my trunk. Just trying to find the right installer for a decent price. Can't wait to see those wheels on a T Grey.

Ok finally got them installed..used Password JDM Tuners. This is stock stance and with no spacers..may add some 10mm spacers for some poke then use the springs in my trunk to drop it on Saturday.
