18X8.5 18X9.5 offset 35 on rx8?
will it fit ??? it is supposed to go on my dad's FD but we want to try them on the rx8, am i going to have issue with rubbing or things like that..
tires are 235 40 zr18 front, rear is 265 35 zr18 Thanks Max |
make sure the bolt pattern is the same i believe the 8 is 5x114 or something like that, not sure what the bolt pattern is for the 7. and for the offset you can use this http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html
|
rx7 is 5X114.3
|
... i'm wondering if the offset will be fine? 35mm

I am running Enkei RP03 35mm offset in a 18x8.5 w/245/40/18 on all four corners. That is the limit on what would fit. I am on a Mazdaspeed suspension with no rubbing.

murix why did you go for teh 8.5" ide rims? they looks sweet. re-amemiya has teh same rims on their 8. loks great. but wouldn't 245/40/18's fit on the stock rims? i'm pretty sure a buncha' people on here have done it. don't get me wrong if i had teh money i'd get those rims or maybe some ro_ja by rays. :D ah if only my money tree would start growing.

I have the 9.5 in the rear with 19s and everything is fine.
|

I did in fact put those tires on the stock rims the first time around and they worked great. These are a little wider, a little lighter, a little farther out to the edges, and a little better looking. Minor changes add up to a big difference when done right in my book. |
That should fit

Lower 30mm without problem. GREAT! The size shot makes me drool and the rear shot makes me high :p. They are great price cf. the Volks. They are light too. I think it is in a range of 8.x kg. Have you weight it? |
that looks good, did you have to roll the fenders at all?
|
Hmmm, what a way to bump an ancient-7.5 year old thread!!!

So tell me why the 18x9 +35's and 265's all around fit with no rubbing... I love misinformation. |
