18 vs 19 help

Alright.. i tried to do a search on that thread on 18's vs. 19's .. could someone help me find it? or.. if you have a suggestion.. feel free to post up.. ;)

... which one would you prefer? 18's or 19's? Pro's and Con's? is it just the "balla" factor or is it functional? help please.. ;)

From personal experience... By going to a larger wheel, you lose both ride quality and cornering ability. The extra bit of flexibility a taller sidewall gives you does wonders.

BUT, larger wheels (with the right style/finish anyways) always look soooo much better. And they do give you a slightly faster turn-in... Feels faster, if nothing else.

Me? I'd stick with some sleek 18's, then drop the car a bit.

18 for sure here.
lighter, less expensive (and tires) better performance and can be great looking too with the right setup...

They look really good. I like the spaces within the spokes. How much do they weigh? How much are they? Are you gonna go with 18s or 19s?

I have 18s aftermarket rim, but after i bought the ROTORA big brake it, the 18 won't even fit. The rotora brake kit need 19 inch rim and 3 piece rim, so now i need to pay 3000 extra dollar for new sets of 19 inch rims. it sucks :( so if you plan to get big brake kit, go with 19 and less offset :)

if you mean the 355mm rotora brake kit, it can fit with spacers even on stock rims... someone -crazy enough- I know, fitted them by doing some cutting on the rim... hope he won't get killed...

18s - go fast

19s - look fast

pick which one you care more about.

Right off the konig website: http://www.konighweels.com/

Konig
Holes Graphite 18x7.5 Graphite Center Machined Lip 21.32 lbs lbs. Call for Price.

I like their website more than other wheel manufacturers, because they actually give the weight with each size. Also most of their wheels are over 20 lbs (talking 18s or larger).

I really liked the Konig Hurry, but the largest size is 17x7. Damn.

Nice looking wheels man. I can't find any info on them, or price. Do you have specs?

Found some nice pics on www.tsw.com though.

I think 18's are plenty big enough. If you go any bigger, the car will look more "cartoonish." When I go to the parking lot a work, my wheels look so odd (but modern) compared to the cars around mine.
