17x9 Cobra SVT Wheels
Just and FYI to anyone looking. These 2000ish Ford Mustang Cobra SVT Wheels are can be had for cheap. I got these for $100 and they are forged one-piece and relatively light for 17x9. I put 255/40's all the way around. If I was going to be picky, I would say the fronts should move in 5mm and the rear should move out 5mm. I plan to poweder coat them a little darker than the paint once I tint the windows.

These actually look pretty darn good. Any more pics? Whats the offset? Is your car lowered? Give us the details please.

Not sure I’d call a 25 lbs. 17 x 9 wheel light ... but definitely looks a lot better than the original factory wheels!

pretty sure j#s ran rustang wheels for a while

My 19x9.5s are 22ish lbs each iirc... but for the price you paid youre still doing well at a fraction of what i paid. Im contemplating a second set of wheels for DDing amd these do look nice...

I am pretty sure they are around 20lbs each, so not super light, but lighter than the chrome version. Upside is that they are super strong for the potholes found during the daily drive. The offset is 24mm and the car is adjusted down about 1.5" with coil-overs. I think the picture with the measurement was taken during my height adjustment. The final gap was about 1.75" between the top of the wheel and the fender.
Either way, I am sure I am not the first or only one to run these. Thanks for the comments. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...83907ddd1.jpeg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...4bc0a8c4a.jpeg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...4cb8f97b2.jpeg |
