17x9 +35mm FN01RCs
Okay, so I took advantage of the sale Edge Racing is having, and ordered a new set of track wheels and tires for the new year. I ordered a set of +35mm FN01RCs with 255/40-17 Toyo RA-1s.
Mounted them up yesterday to see if I'd need to roll the fenders, and everything seems to clear just fine. I'll be the first to admit that this color would look better on a white or silver car, but they were on sale and they won't show the brake dust. For around $1400 for everything to my door, how could I say no?
FWIW, the car is slightly lower than stock (about 1/2" lower on RB springs and Konis). The 255s are an inch shorter in overall diameter than the OEM tires, so the car is overall an inch lower, with an extra 2.5 inches of outside track front and rear and an extra inch and a half of contact patch width at each corner. Can't wait to try it on the track!
BTW, there is plenty of caliper clearance with these wheels:

Not sure if you're keeping those on or not but from the shot of the back of the car I noticed the rear left tire rotation is backwards. Looks like you got it mixed up with the one you have on the front right.

I just threw them on to check fitment and snap a couple of pics. They'll be going back into the tire bags this afternoon until the season's first track event in March.

Besides, it sounds a LOT better than stock.

The more aggressive ones have a much shallower offset like +20. You might be able to get away with running these with some very narrow stretched tire and a jacked up alignment to fit them under the fenders, but I'm more interested in fitting wider tires for track performance, not aesthetics.

1935 lbs. FTW!
They look great, good to know +35 offset with such a wide combo fits well. You won't believe the difference going to springs+wider tires over the B-stock setup even with a slower tire like the RA1. You should run it in BSP once this season for fun just to see how it compares to the local BS guys.
