[HELP] Painting stock rims black

So I've decided to go ahead and paint my stock rx8 rims black. I'm wondering if you guys can recommend any good quality sprays. Thanks

Powdercoat and be done with it. If its worth doing its worth doing right!

Easiest thing to do is what I did... Plastidip. Very easy, DIY kit that you can even take off when you want. visit dipyourcar.com to see the videos on how to do it. I did it on my 8 and have done both matte black and gloss black. Right now I'm rocking gloss black STOCK rims.

Considering painting my white 2005 stock rims black. Can anyone personally vouch for Rustoleum when done right. Also personal opinion: matte or gloss?

That's a style choice. Follow your own style.

But don't plastidip. That shit looks cheap lazy.

90% of a good looking, lasting paint job is in the prep work.

If it were me, I'd powdercoat as it should be more durable when done properly.

I recommend using Rustoleum engine paint since regular Rustoleum paints might be too soft and will not hold up well. Another important thing is prep. Regarding wheel finish, I like the look of matte.
