Seriously dude, you are gonna get flamed (I am feeling nice)Do you have a user manual in your glove box? Read it.

It means your coolant is low. But the sensor is known to fail over time.

no, i dont. thats why im asking on here. and what sensor is it? that would cuase the over heating?

It is the sensor in the coolant overflow bottle that lets you know when your coolant is low. If you are losing coolant from a leak your engine will overheat. Do not drive it until you get it figured out. The rotary engine does not handle overheating well as it runs hot as it is.

No problemo.

It probably just means you are running low. Just fill it up. That's what I did and mine went away.

Yeah but he is overheating so there may be more to it than that.

he needs coolant

insufficient coolant = overheating.

and Its Automatic ... failed ...

Gil remind me I need to pic up some FL22 from Mazda.

Once a car begins to overheat............

Imediately pull over and examine the engine for cause.

Wait until the car is cool, about an hour then open up the radiator cap with a rag.

Gee... take a basic auto course.

This is simple stuff.
