water level sensor or air in the system?
So my issue is that at high rpm for any extended period my coolant light will come on, it seems temp independent and goes away if i clutch in and let it spin at low rpms few a sec. Would this be air in the coolant ? Ive tried bleeding the car, ive raise the front in and open the cap to bleed it out with no luck, turned on the heat to let possible air out of the heater core.
I know the sensors go bad sometimes but that wouldnt depend on rpm would it ? |
Put a bit more coolant in it :)

I used a syringe to drain it..stick it down in the hole and suck what I needed out. Did this about 6 syringes full and is much better so far. If it happens again going to try a new tank cap first..then move on from there. |
The sensors suck...so it could easily be the problem
Check your lower rad hose as well.....( don`t ask ;) ) If it isn`t low...don`t worry about it |
what could be the deal with the lower hose? I did the upper ones but the dealer did the lower one since I couldn't get to it.

it makes me paranoid at times, and after abusive driving it tends to come on ~_~, guess ill unplug the sensor for now, tank is no where near empty so i am just going to guess a crazy sensor
