Trunk lid install - sheared bolt

So I feel like an idiot...

I was installing a trunk lid on my 2007 rx-8, which really just involves tightening four nuts, two on each bracket, to some threaded rod extending out of the trunk lid. While tightening one of these nuts, I was distracted by some going-ons around me and overtightened it (easier to do with a ratchet than i expected). This caused the threaded rod coming out of the trunk lid to shear off right at the bracket. Ugh...

The other three are tight, but now one one side of the trunk lid can wobble slightly. Does anyone know if these threaded rods are removable/replaceable, or if anyone has ideas on how to secure the trunk lid to the bracket?

I'm slightly at a loss here, and any help or ideas would really be appreciated.

Thanks.

In case anyone else should have this problem, this is what I did...

I ran to the hardware store and picked up an M6 T-nut and some washers that would fit over it. I screwed this onto the broken off threaded rod as far as it would go, and marked where the bracket face was on the T-nut body. I put washers onto the T-nut until they just covered this line, and then screwed this fitting stack-up onto the broken off rod.

This T-bolt can thread onto the rod inside of the hole in the bracket, and the washers give me the spacing I need to make sure everything is tight. All-in-all, it cost me $2 and the trunk is secured nicely!
