Transmission locked me out last night, today its making noises?

Last night after cruising around with some buds, we decided to hit up a park where some other friends where having a grill out. So we all sat in, and I left my car, as it is the designated music car due to the loud stereo system our cars come with, and it sat and idled for about an hour, until I decided to leave. As I leave, I decide to take the long way home as I enjoy driving the car. So I go onto a long back road near the industrial ports and all, and come to a stop. Next thing I know, as im trying to movie, My car wont go into gear. Its as if the clutch just stopped working? Clutch is fairly new with only 14k on it so I know its not hurt at all.
I began to freak. I try everything, only to realize, my Clutch sensor was cracked and I bought a new one, but never replaced it (duh?, its the sensor behind the pedal). Well, my friends give me a little push, I step on teh clutch, still not getting into gear. So I got pissed off, made them push again, and slammed it into first. It went in with a little grind.

I tried pressing the clutch, but all I got was a little shake and the car still didnt come out of gear. Oh joy.So I drove her home in 1st, unlawfully breaking the stop sign laws and no turn on red laws, as I had no choice or else I would be stuck.

I get home, get it int he driveway, and shut it off. I try to start it, it wont start. But i realize again its because of the sensor. Whatever.

So today after comign back from school, I install the new sensor. I press the clutch in, nothing.. Im like WTF? So I realize now, the pedal isnt pushing the little gray peice at the end of the sensor all the way back. WTH? So I clip it off, I press my foot on the clutch, and press the sensor with my hands. She starts..
goes into all gear easily too... nice. But when I press the clutch in, it makes wierd noises? like whirls? but when I release its fine. I have a feeling its the throw out bearing?
Any one know anything of this? And why does all of a sudden my pedal not reach the sensor?

not being able to shift into or out of a gear has nothing to do with whether you are pressing on the clutch safety switch.

push the pedal in bad noise adn let it out the noise stops- thats the throwout bearing and the first real case ive seen in a couple years. just because you have only 14k on the clutch doesnt mean there is no problem with it or a problem related to it. couldnt you rev it and get it to smoothly come out of gear?

Well I only put about 1k of my own miles on the car. The previous owner had the papers for all the work that was serviced upon it. Including a clutch at 80K ( And motor :P, right now its got 94K on dash though and 14k On engine and Clutch).

I didnt try revving it high and taking it out of gear. I was glad I got it into gear and could drive it home.

It goes into gears fine today, and I know its not the transmission as I never had a single whine or grind from it. I think it is the throwout bearing. It might have gotten to heated up from the car sitting and idling so long?

Where does the transmission fluid go aswell, and what kind? I want to check the levels and perhaps drop some new fluid in. Now it seems to me that its as if its running dry. The noise sounds like it did in my old Evo IX when I was very low on TRanny/TC fluid.
