Traction control light won't turn off

I just got done installing my new aem cai on my car and i started the car and the "dcs off" light was flashing and the traction control light was on. I drove it a little and the "dcs off" light is no longer flashing but the traction control light is still on. Has anyone else had this issue and I just didn't look hard enough on the forum? I'm scared I unplugged something that I shouldn't have.

Jeez......................turn the ignition on but don't start the car. Turn the wheel all the way to the right and then all the way to the left. After that, turn the key off wait three seconds and start as normal.

You have to do this each and everytime you disconnect the battery!
It's in the manual if you have one.............. and if you don't, download one for free at www.mazdausa.com in the owners section.

Mine doesn't clear after a battery reset until I do the steering wheel sweep AND drive at least ~30-50 feet. (probably just need a few circuits of each wheel for the sensors to pick up the rotation) Then turn off the car, and back on again.

Usually, my battery disconnect was from working on it, and it is cold, so I usually drive it till warm, pull over, shut off, then back on again. Always gone.

If it still doesn't turn off, then you have a problem with the system. Possible sensor failure, possible self-disabling because it can't figure out what you are doing (tire rotation difference can do this, like big air pressure differences or just different size tires), possibly the fuse blew, possible control module failure.

did you ever think about how much quicker it is to do a Google search and come to the forum then it is to thumb through the manual?
