Tough getting car into gear

Hi i'm new to the forum and I have owned my 8 for about 3 months. A couple weeks ago I went to a local hardware store. When I left I tried backing out of the spot and the car would not go into reverse. After a few minutes I finally got it to go into reverse but gears 1-4 were very difficult to go into. When I got home I did some research and i read that rx8s and clutch bracket issues. I went and looked at mine and i didnt see any cracks and it doesnt squeek unless its raining so it appears to be fine. I took my shifter out and greased it and after that it seemed fine. Flash forward two weeks it was fine until this morning it started doing the same thing. As for mods I did put in a stage 1 exedy clutch and a bhr flywheel. I did do a trans fluid swap and when i put the new fluid in i filled it up until fluid came out of the drain plug. I used amsoil trans fluid. Thanks for reading!

Is it actually difficult to move the shifter or does it grind when you try to put it in gear?

The getting into reverse thing is a fairly common problem. I've read that the shift forks are rather easily bent by ham-handedness. I usually find that if it's hard to get into place, shift back to neutral, let out the clutch, and try again. Applying more force not only doesn't work, it can make the problem worse over time.

I had a bad problem with first and reverse and no one seemed to be able to figure it out. Replaced motor mounts, problem fixed.

It wont move out of neutral for a while but when it does it will grind bad going into gear. both times this happened i was parked on a downward slope. idk if it's just coincidence or what.
