I tried resetting the codes and resetting the computer and they cam back right away :crying: |
oh, and anyone think these could be even remotely caused by a CZ and an RP supercat??
the CEL is actually for SSV but same thing really. so you have the last valve in the sdais stuck open. the other 2 are not correct codes. what scanner are you using?
have you changed the intake??? i got a code like that after changing to the revi. code did not come up by itself, but after a more important code.
beers |
a) using a canscan.... and yea, i don't see the other 2 codes listed in the service manual... and i sure as hell shouldn't need to worry about camshafts -shrug-
b) haven't changed the intake... only installed a supercat a week ago and reprogrammed my cz box yesterday updated - i just pulled my cz box thinking i'll be taking it to the dealer soon. Took it for a spin and the CEL went off. Not sure if maybe i have a bad connection in the box, or since the CEL takes 2 driving cycles if it will come back on tomorrow morning (but that shouldn't be the case as i didn't kill the battery or reset the codes last trip). We will see.... |
well it could mean eshaft position sensor. check with harrison on why it would give those weird codes. could have 2 isues- stuck valve and canscan problem. or it could be a pcm problem
would it still run smoothly if it was the e-shaft position sensor going? I would think i'd be getting misfires from that?
I've seen false misfire codes when there have been problems with the eccentric shaft position sensor, but still running smoothly.
well, the SSV code is back... looks like i'll be calling up the dealer
I talked with Harrison and the 2 strange pending codes were just some strange unknown error... doesn't show up now with my old software or my new software he just sent me -shrug-
